Boris is a Senior Emerging Markets Strategist. He joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in 2021. Previously, Boris developed macro systematic artificial intelligence solutions at Asavion. Before that, he was a founding partner and portfolio manager with a focus on emerging markets at Rokos Capital Management from 2015 to 2019 as well as a partner and macro portfolio manager at Brevan Howard from 2005 to 2014. Boris began his career as an economist/strategist on the sell side at Creditanstalt, Dresdner Kleinwort, and UBS. He earned an MA in Applied Economics from the Institute of Advanced Studies in Vienna.
