Managing Director of Azimut Egypt Asset Management, which manages a total of EGP 10 billion across a wide range of institutional/HNW portfolios as well as public equity funds and money market funds. Azimut Egypt is part of the Azimut Group, which is a global company managing assets worth USD 100 billion in 17 countries around the world. Ahmed was the head of the Asset Management Department at Naeem Holding. He was the head of the Capital Markets Department at MIBank, where he managed the bank’s investment portfolio in the field of publicly traded shares, fixed-income instruments, and private equity. He also served as head of supervision at the Cairo and Alexandria stock exchanges, where he was on the executive committee that worked on introducing new instruments and regulations to the market. Ahmed is currently a Member of the Management Board of the Egyptian Stock Exchange. He is also the President of CFA Society Egypt and Secretary General of the Egyptian Investment Management Association. At SSM Cairo, Mr. Abou El Saad will be conducting investment masterclasses and courses. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Arts from Alexandria University and an MBA from AASTMT. Ahmed is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and obtained professional certification in project finance and investment evaluation from the Harvard Institute for International Development.
