A distinguished graduate from the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at University of Warsaw, Marcin embarked on a journalistic journey with “Życie Warszawy” in 1992. In 1993, he transitioned into a dedicated role with the State Protection Office, completing his officer’s course by 1996. Subsequently, he joined the Intelligence Board in the same year and successfully completed another officer’s course at the Intelligence Personnel Training Center in 1997. His continued commitment to the field led him to the Intelligence Agency in 2002, where he served until his retirement in 2017, achieving the esteemed rank of lieutenant colonel. Branching out into literature, Marcin co-authored a series of bestselling historical-spy novels: “Operation Rafael” (2019), “Operation Singe” (2020), “Operation Retea” (2021), “In The Red Web” (2022), “Alien Horizon” (2023), and yet-to-be-named sequel set to release in February 2024. Beyond his written contributions, Marcin has established himself as a sought-after commentator and expert on matters of special services and security. He frequently lends his expertise to a range of media outlets including Wirtualna Polska, Radio 357, Radio Nowy Świat, Radio Doxa, Polsat, TVN24, News 24, Super Express, Politics, and Goniec Polski.
